As the Service Workorder is made up of a workorder header, and possibly many workorder items with each workorder item having information pertaining to additional information such as parts, schedulable users, and labor and so on, we utilize more than just one possible grid to display service workorders based on what it is that you are looking to view at a glance.

The Service Workorder grid is useful for an overview of what workorders for what clients are in progress, completed, invoiced, or closed. For example, the dispatcher may view the screen to quickly filter what workorders for a client are presently open.

The Service Workorder grid does not display information about who was scheduled or what unit was being serviced or workorder item summary or request date or such. It is only to display information from the workorder as a whole. use the sub-grids to view additional details.

For example, if you wish to view scheduled users (entered in Scheduled Users sub-screen in a service workorder), refer to the Scheduled Users grid expanded under the Items grid under Service Workorders. For a graphical view of scheduled users, it is suggested to refer to the Schedule screen. Refer to the Schedule section further in this manual once you have overviewed the actual service workorder.

A Service workorder and/or its service workorder items can be opened from the Service grid, the Items grid and the expanded grids underneath as well as from the graphical Schedule screen.

The Service grid format makes it very easy to filter, group and sort for ease of selection. The gird will display Service Workorders based on your last view of this grid. For example, if you were previously viewing a saved filter to only show Service workorders that have Service Completed with a checkmark, it would only show those workorders that do so via that saved filter the next time you view that grid.

If you do not wish certain columns to display, just right-click on the column heading to bring up a list of all displaying columns and uncheck the columns you do not want.
