We invite you to refer to the AyaNova v3 Manual for complete details on all features, tutorials, installation and configuration, and reference information.
The Schedule screen date navigator is the “little” calendar on the left in the Schedule screen that lets you quickly navigate to a date in the “big” calendar on the right. When you click a number in the date navigator, that date is displayed in the main Schedule calendar screen on the right.
The date navigator can also help orient you as to which days of the month you're viewing, the current day, and which days currently have workorder items and schedule markers.
Do note that the more months displayed in the date navigator, the longer it will take for AyaNova to display information for all those months.
When you open the AyaNova Schedule screen, AyaNova determines the number of months you last were showing in the date navigator, and gathers all* information on every workorder item and schedule marker that will fall within those months.
If you will only be dealing with this week’s information, for the sake of speed and performance, it is suggested that you display only one month – this month – in the date navigator.
If you are a dispatcher or service manager that has to move around to many different dates during any AyaNova session, than in this instance it would make sense for you to show many months.
Find out what you are comfortable here with – displaying many months may slow the display down, versus displaying one month but needing to refresh completely if have to move to another date range. |
