Printing is performed by selecting a report template from the Print menu option of the grid or entry screen you are presently viewing, previewing the report, and selecting print from within the Print Preview window.
Although AyaNova may install with a number of sample report templates, you can customize existing, create new, and import report templates from other AyaNova users
Data displaying in the grid = Data displaying in report
Example:
You are in the Clients grid in the Clients navigation pane
No filters have been set on any column as shown by the Filter Drop List stating No Filter - therefore all clients ever entered into AyaNova are displaying.
You wish to print out a report on clients service banked balance.
If you were to select the sample report template Client Banked Service Balance from the Print drop down selection, the report will display information for every client entered.
As the report prints based on what displays in the grid, you would need to filter so that only those clients that have banked service enabled display in the grid.
Now when you select the report, it will display information only on those clients displaying in the grid.
Note: the sort order of the displaying grid affects the sort order of the report displayed - unless the report template has been internally set to group specifically. Refer to the AyaNova v3 Manual and to the AyaNova Support Forum on report templates for more information on customizing report templates. |
