Important information to review prior to importing

NOTE: All present AyaNova v3 data is deleted internally by the importing feature before the AyaNova CE 1.9.4.4 data is imported**

Therefore, only one AyaNova 1.9.4.4 database can be imported

You can not merge existing data in an AyaNova v3 database with data from an AyaNova CE 1.9.4.4 database

You can not import into an unlicensed AyaNova v3 database

You can not import data from an unlicensed AyaNova CE 1.9.4.4 database

Workorders in AyaNova v1.9.4.4 that are set to <Closed> will be set to Closed in AyaNova v3 and are not editable. If you wish to be able to edit these, you must reset these to <In Progress> before importing.

Refer to further in this section regarding importing of security groups, AyaNova users, client service requests, rental items and other AyaNova CE 1.9.4.4 data before importing.

No white-space character at the beginning or end of any text field is imported into the AyaNova v3 database.  For example, if you had a number of spaces entered into a CE 1.9.4.4 client entry screen First Name field, they would not be imported into v3.

All records imported into the AyaNova v3 database are time stamped with the date and time of the import for that record, and the username logged into the CE Import utility.

**AyaNova v3 maintains the Global Settings, the default AyaNova Administrator user with username manager with password letmein, Tax Codes, Regions, Default warehouse, Localized Text, and any sample reports, and deletes all other data in the AyaNova v3 database.

Please refer to throughout this manual for data fields in AyaNova CE 1.9.4.4 that equate to data files in AyaNova v3

Although we have reviewed to the best of our ability that all data other than stated here is imported, it is your responsibility to confirm that the import of data is successful.

Maintain a backup of your AyaNova CE 1.9.4.4 database file.
