What limitations are in the trial AyaNova?
When you initially download and install AyaNova, it will install the AyaNova database licensed with following restrictions (and all other features enabled):
- 30 day trial period
- Restricted to entry of 29 total orders (this is a total of service workorders, quotes and PM and their templates)
- Reports printed will include watermark indicating this is an evaluation
- Sample AyaNova users can not be edited nor new created
- Not able to erase sample database
- Optional add-on's require licensed database (temporary license or purchased license)
Request a 30 day temporary key so that you can fully unlock your AyaNova database and try out all features fully before purchase.
Can I try out AyaNova with no limitations?
Yes! Use our online request form to send us your email address and company info, and we will send you a keycode to fully unlock the trial AyaNova service management software that you have downloaded and installed from the Downloads web page.

Is onsite training needed to be able to use AyaNova?
No. AyaNova is very easy to use. Unlike other service management programs that easily charge you thousands of dollars to provide training, expensive onsite training is not required nor needed with AyaNova service management software.
Just check out the AyaNova Online Help which has tutorials of many common tasks that you would perform in the How do I..?'s, as well as detailed information on every feature of AyaNova.

Can I download the Help instead of viewing online?
The AyaNova Help documentation is provided online so that you can easily look up information as you go along, use the Search feature to find details on what you need, and use the jump links to jump to further information in the Help documentation. For example, when in the service workorder entry screen, select the F1 key on your keyboard and the Help file will automatically open to the Service Management details section of the AyaNova Help file. From there you can view more details on the Labor subsection, the Parts subsection, and more.
And if need be, you can always copy and print out the specific tutorial that you are following along with if you do not want to refer to the online while doing the steps. For example, when following along with the tutorial overview of a workorder copy all of the tutorial and paste into a Word document and print.
And we are always updating the online Help documentation, whereas a downloaded manual may not be up to date.
But if you prefer to download a copy of the AyaNova Help documentation to view offline or to be able to print out specific pages, you can download the AyaNova6PDFHelp.zip file, unzip using WinZip which will extract the PDF file for you.
Do note that as AyaNova has many many features, the Help documentation is quite large. At the time of this posting, this PDF file is from the Help documentation dated Feb 3 2010, contains 1000+ pages and the file download is 17.9MB
Can I be sent a CD of AyaNova?
To be able to offer affordable service management software, we do not provide CD's. If you require a CD, we suggest to contact your local computer center to download the installation and documentation files, and burn to a CD for you.

How do I install AyaNova?
Follow these steps:
- Download the AyaNova installation file
- Install taking the defaults
- That's it! - the installation places an AyaNova icon on your desktop from which you can run the AyaNova service management software program
If for some reason you experience an issue - do check the AyaNova Online Help Default Installation Steps as Microsoft.NET Framework 3.5 is required, and to ensure you only took the defaults
Detailed installation information for stand-a-lone and network environments, as well as for use with FireBird or SQL Server are found within the AyaNova Help.
The AyaNova Help provides step by step How To's on all the features of AyaNova, as well as detailed information, tips on use and reference information for network configuration, custom reporting, custom fields, localization and more.
What is the username and password to log into the full AyaNova service management software?
When you first run the limited trial AyaNova after installing it, the Login screen will come up with the AyaNova Administrator username manager and its password letmein already entered for you
You can also log in as any of the sample users that are in the sample database that have different security rights, including sample users for different locales (German, Spanish, French) that is installed along with the AyaNova program files. See the AyaNova Online Help documentation for a list of these sample users and their passwords
Once you apply your temporary key, AyaNova will be fully unlocked and you can create your own users, edit existing users, erase the sample data in the database and try out all features with no limitations.
Can I delete the sample data that is in the trial AyaNova?
Yes, you can erase the sample data in the AyaNova database if it is licensed - licensed via a temporary key or via a purchased key.
Follow the easy instructions in the AyaNova Help section "How do I erase the AyaNova database?" by using the quick menu option to erase the entire database. Some aspects will not be deleted such as the AyaNova Administrator, report templates for ease of starting fresh with AyaNova service management software - see the AyaNova Help section identified above for complete details.
Will data I enter while trialing AyaNova still be there after I purchase?
Yes. When you purchase your AyaNova full service management software licenses, you will receive a key via email that you will apply to your AyaNova that you have already installed and fully tried out to ensure it meets your needs. Any data you entered while trialing AyaNova will still be available after you apply the key to unlock your AyaNova database for the licenses you purchased.
I've emailed a question but have received no reply?
Email support for AyaNova service management software is provided between 9am and 5pm Monday through Friday Pacific Standard Time (-8 GMT/UTC). If emailing outside of that time, we will reply as soon as we can.
Or it could be that your email program or your ISP (Internet Service Provider) is using a spam filter that is filtering out all email from us, or certain email depending on the content.
Adding support@ayanova.com to your email program's address book is a simple way to ensure email from us is unhindered in many email programs
If your email program isn't blocking our emails, contact your ISP to allow email from support@ayanova.com
Once you have done this, either forward your previous email, or send a new email stating that you did not receive a reply due possibly to a spam filter, and we will resend the information.
We are not made aware by your spam filter that the email has not been received by you. The only way is if you confirm the receipt, or contact us again.
Remember you can also use our support forum from your web browser if your email is unreliable.
