What is the difference between AyaNova Lite work order software and the full AyaNova service management software?
AyaNova Lite is affordable and simple work order software for a single user on a single computer. Refer to the AyaNova Lite Features web page for overview list of AyaNova Lite features
Whereas the full AyaNova service management software provides many more features to help you manage your service most efficiently and effectively.
If any of the features listed below are important to you to provide efficient and effective service management in your organization, be sure to check out the full AyaNova
- Remote Access with Data Portal, WBI, and MBI are not available for use with AyaNovaLite.
- The Service Workorder entry screen in AyaNova Lite is stripped down to only one workorder item per workorder with one scheduled record, one labor record and unlimited part records.
- AyaNovaLite does not include the full inventory features of the full AyaNova. You can create parts and select them in a service workorder in AyaNova Lite, but there is no part requests feature, no Purchase Orders, no inventory, etc.
- AyaNova Lite does not include Preventive Maintenance, Quotes nor their Templates.
- AyaNova Lite does not include Units nor tracking of their service history
- AyaNova Lite does not include Contracts nor Banked Service
- AyaNova Lite does not include Custom Fields
- AyaNova Lite does not include Wiki nor uploading of documents
- AyaNova Lite does not include the Automatic notifications feature for clients and users
What limitations are in the trial AyaNova Lite work order software?
When you initially download and install AyaNova, it will install the AyaNova program files, and two databases - one sample database unregistered for the full AyaNova, and a second sample database unregistered for AyaNova Lite.
Once you have toggled to the AyaNova Lite trial database, it has the following restrictions (with all other features enabled):
- 30 day trial period
- Restricted to entry of 29 total work orders
- Reports printed will include watermark indicating this is an evaluation
- Sample database can't be erased
Request a 30 day temporary key so that you can unlock your AyaNova Lite database and try out all features fully before purchase.
Can I try out AyaNova Lite with no limitations?
Yes! Use our online request form to send us your email address and company info, and we will send you a keycode to fully unlock the trial AyaNova Lite work order software that you have downloaded and installed from the Downloads web page.

Is onsite training needed to be able to use AyaNova Lite?
No. AyaNova Lite is very easy to use. Unlike other service management programs that easily charge you thousands of dollars to provide training,expensive onsite training is not required nor needed with AyaNova Lite

Can I be sent a CD of AyaNova Lite?
To be able to offer affordable work order software, we do not provide CD's. If you require a CD, we suggest to contact your local computer center to download the installation and documentation files, and burn to a CD for you.

How do I install AyaNova Lite?
Follow these steps:
- Download the AyaNova installation file
- Install taking the defaults
- Toggle to AyaNova Lite from the Help menu
- That's it! - the installation places an AyaNova icon on your desktop from which you can run the AyaNova program which connects now to the AyaNova Lite database
If for some reason you experience an issue - do check the AyaNova Lite Online Help Default Installation Steps as Microsoft.NET Framework 4 is required, and to ensure you only took the defaults

Can I delete the sample data that is in the trial AyaNova Lite?
Yes, you can erase the sample data in the AyaNova Lite work order software database if it is licensed - licensed via a temporary key or via a purchased key.
- Request your temporary AyaNova Lite key
- Follow the easy instructions in the AyaNova Help section "How do I erase the AyaNova database?" by using the quick menu option to erase the entire database
Some aspects will not be deleted such as the AyaNova Administrator, report templates etc - see the AyaNova Help section identified above for complete details.
Will data I enter while trialing AyaNova Lite still be there after I purchase?
Yes. When you purchase your AyaNova Lite work order software license, you will receive a key via email that you will apply to your AyaNova Lite that you have already installed and fully tried out to ensure it meets your needs. Any data you entered while trialing AyaNova will still be available after you apply the key to unlock your AyaNova Lite database for the licenses you purchased.
