How it works
The remote access web server uses IIS 5.0+ as a "bridge" to provide
pre-formatted web
pages to the remote user's web browser transferring data called from
the AyaNova database to display on the users web page, and receiving
data entered by the user via their web page.
The remote user
just needs a web browser, an Internet connection, the IP address and
port number for the remote access web server, and an AyaNova remote username and
password.
When the IP
address and port number of the remote access web
server is entered as a URL in
the remote user's web browser, it brings up the remote
access web server login screen
via a web page.
If the remote user
is a client, it will display client related web pages such as to
request service, or to view that clients service workorders.
If the remote user
is an AyaNova user, it will display user related web pages that the
AyaNova administrator has given the remote user access to - such as
Scheduled List grid and ability to create and update service
workorders. Additional access to other features can be provided.
