WBI 5 now includes many new features for improved ease of use and productivity:

 

Client WBI new features and changes:

 

Filtering

A client logged in via WBI will now be able to filter on the provided columns of the Customer Service Request grid as well as sort by a different column so that the client can quickly find which CSR they wish to view the details of

Additional text field in Customer Service Request entry screen

The Customer Service Request entry screen where a client requests service now includes an additional text field presently labeled as Requested By.
When the CSR is accepted to a new workorder, whatever text is entered in the field Requested By will be transferred to the Contact text field in the workorder entry screen
Of course, you can localize these field labels to whatever desired. Refer to the AyaNova 5 Help file section on Localization for details.

 

 

User WBI new features and changes:

 

Faster

Better compression between WBI and client for improved performance

 

Date/Time selection

The controls used for Date/Time selection have been updated for much easier selection while on the road.
These latest controls also provide an improvement in the performance of page loading times

 

Grids

Users on the road can now filter grids to quickly find the specific record desired
The new Purchase Order Items grid records and Purchase Order Receipt Items grid displays
Loan Item and Units now have hyperlinks in other grids for ease of access - i.e. can now open the Unit entry screen from the Service Workorder grid via its hyperlink

 

Report Templates

New feature in AyaNova for restricting users of specific security group to seeing a report enforced in WBI also
New feature in AyaNova for restricting users of specific region to seeing reports set to either All regions or their region enforced in WBI too.

 

Unit

New text fields in Unit entry screen also accessible via WBI

 

Workorder

When creating a new service workorder (or new quote or new PM) via WBI, the new feature Client Finder is accessible
Default time span range set in Global Settings will be pre-entered for the user when creates a new Labor record.
If incorrectly enter an invalid Stop Date/Time compared to the Start Date/Time, WBI will identify that record (Labor, Scheduled User or Travel) with a red border as a reminder to the user that it needs to be resolved before the workorder can be saved

 

Security

If user has Read-Only rights to an object, New... menu options so the user doesn't even both er to try to edit and waste time doing so

Skins

The use of custom made skins was removed as a feature from WBI 5 to take advantage of the new features listed above.

 

WBI Installation

WBI now installs by default to C:\Program Files\Ground Zero Tech-Works Inc\AyaNovaWBI5
Image file to customize the login page is now a png format file loginbanner.png

 

External XTools

Take advantage of the External Tools feature of WBI to display links elsewhere for AyaNova users that are of the type Administrator User.
