It is always recommend to read through all instructions first before proceeding.
Make sure all server requirements have been met before proceeding, including that AyaNova 4 has been confirmed able to connect to the networked AyaNova database from this same IIS computer.
1. Download the WBI installation file AyaNovaWBI.msi from http://www.ayanova.com/WBIdownload.htm to the local hard drive of the computer where you will be installing.
2. Run the AyaNovaWBI.msi file to begin the installation, read all messages and select Next where indicated until installation is complete
3. By default, WBI is installed to the Default Web Site with a physical location of C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\AyaNovaWBI
4. Once installation is complete, continue withconfiguration and testing
NOTE: If on your server you can not use a web site off of Default Web Site as per the steps above, you can instead install to a new virtual web site pointing to the AyaNovaWBI folder.
1. Create an empty folder on the IIS Server's local hard drive
2.Use your IIS Manager to manually create a new web site pointing to that newly created folder (Allow anonymous access to the web site)
3. Run the installation above, but where it shows Default Web Site, drop down and select your newly created site
4. The folder AyaNovaWBI and its files and folders will be installed to that folder which equates to the web site you created.
5. Open IIS Manager, and view Properties of the AyaNovaWBI site - making sure .NET 2 is selected in the ASP.NET tab for this new site.
6. Stop and Start this new web site
7. Now perform the configuration steps and testing but of course taking into consideration installed to a different folder, and in a different location in the IIS Manager (not under Default Web Site)
8. If you encounter an issue with this, if contacting AyaNova Support be sure to stress exactly what steps you did and that you did not install using the Default Web Site.
