Installation and database configuration for use with QBI entails:
| 1. | Ensure requirements are meet prior to installing QBI (latest version AyaNova v3.1 + compatible QuickBooks + QBFC5 installed) |
| 2. | Download the QBI installation file |
| 3. | Run the QBI installation file |
| 4. | Create the QBI configuration file for access to the AyaNova database. |
| 1. | Confirm that the requirements prior to installation and use have been met. |
| a. | The latest version release of AyaNova v3 installed and operational |
| b. | Compatible QuickBooks program installed and operational |
| c. | The QuickBooks component installed QBFC5.0 |
| i. | The AyaNova QBI requires two components: the AyaNova QBI program which is installed via the downloaded file from the AyaNova website; and the QuickBooks API component QBFC5.0 which allows QBI to integrate with the installed QuickBooks program and company data file |
| 2. | Download the latest AyaNova QBI program installation file from the AyaNova QBI web page to the local hard drive of where the QBI program will be run. |
| 3. | Double-click the QBI installation file to begin the installation. |
| a. | As with any AyaNova product - DO NOT install via terminal services. |
| b. | All other programs are shut down before beginning the installation |
| c. | You are logged onto the computer with full administrative rights |
| d. | Default program installation path will be C:\Program Files\Ground Zero Tech-Works Inc\AyaNova 3 as QBI must be installed into the same program folder where the latest version AyaNova v3 program is installed |

Before continuing, make sure you can see all information in Windows Explorer by performing the following:
1. Open Windows Explorer and select menu View
2. Make sure Details is checked
3. Select menu option Tools -> Folder Options
4. Make sure Show Fidden Files and Folders is checkmarked
5. Make sure Hide file extensions for known file types is not checkmarked
6. Click on Apply button
7. Click on Use Current Folder button to set all folders to use this type of view
8. Select Yes
Now you can see file dates, extensions of files and so on.

| 4. | After installation has completed successfully, we will now proceed to create/edit the QBI configuration file so the QBI knows what AyaNova v3 database to access, where and how. |
| a. | Using Windows Explorer, move to the AyaNova v3 program folder - default would be C:\Program Files\Ground Zero Tech-Works Inc\AyaNova 3 |
| b. | Right-click on the AyaNova.exe.config file and select Copy |
| c. | Select Paste to create the file Copy of AyaNova.exe.config |
| d. | Rename this Copy of AyaNova.exe.config file as AyaNovaQBI.exe.config |
