Network AyaNova database server requirements

Requirements for the server depend on which network database configuration you would be using, and the  load the server is under.

AyaNova is hardware scalable - performance is directly related to the performance of the computer where the AyaNova database is.  Obviously a faster computer with the lightest load is going to be able to respond more quickly.

Below are minimum requirements as stated by the server developers (Firebird and Microsoft) themselves:

Network Firebird 2.1.1 SuperServer:

Windows XP or 2003 with all latest service packs

Microsoft .NET Framework 4

1GHz CPU

512MB RAM

SQL Express 2005 or higher:

Windows XP, 2003 or Vista with all latest service packs

Microsoft .NET Framework 4

2 GHz CPU

2GB RAM

SQL Server 2005 or higher:

Windows XP, 2003 or Vista with all latest service packs

Microsoft .NET Framework 4

2 GHz CPU

2GB RAM
