Upgrading if stand-alone AyaNova 5 |

It is always recommend to read through all instructions first before proceeding.
1. Before proceeding, make sure that you know your AyaNova Administrator username and password - log in and try it first.
When running AyaNova 6 the first time after performing the steps below, you want to log in as the AyaNova Administrator to ensure successful update.
For this reason, make sure you know and have confirmed your AyaNova Administrator username and password before proceeding.
If you do not know your AyaNova Administrator username and password, before going any further log into your AyaNova 5 as another AyaNova user that does have rights to the Users grid, and edit the AyaNova Administrator username and password, and keep that username and password in a safe place (i.e. in a safe).
2. Make sure you have a successful backup of your AyaNova 5.x database file AYANOVA.FDB before proceeding.
3. Make sure you are not running the AyaNova 5 program.
4. Uninstall AyaNova 5 via your Control Panel -> Add/remove programs.
AyaNova 6 includes updates to all third party components, and by uninstalling, you ensure these are removed before installing the new AyaNova 6.
5. Download the AyaNova 6 installation file from http://www.ayanova.com/download.htm if not already downloaded and install
6. Perform the stand-alone AyaNova 6 installation steps
7. Run AyaNova 6
8. Log into AyaNova 6 as the AyaNova Administrator
9. You have now upgraded your AyaNova 5 database to AyaNova 6
10. Refer to Backup & Restore with the stand-alone single computer default installation for backing up your AyaNova 6database.
