In addition to using your mouse to drop down field to select listed objects, a neat little feature for ease of use is the auto-select and auto-complete feature of the drop down fields.
In the example taken from the Part subsection of a service workorder entry screen, the user typed in the first letter “d” and the drop down automatically matched it against the first alphabetical part that begins with the letter “d”.
If the user continues typing the characters “dell6”, AyaNova will move to the next part that begins with those characters “dell6”
And of course you can use your mouse to select the drop arrow to display the list, and scroll down as needed too.
NOTE: If you pause for 2 seconds or more in between typing the characters, the buffer is reset.
For example, if you first typed in letter "d", AyaNova will jump to the first part that has the letter "d". But if than you than get distracted, and time goes by, and than you type in th letter "e", it will just to the first part that starts with "e" - because too much time went by in between.
