In addition to being able to create a new workorder for a client from the New... menu option in the Service Workorder grids, or from the Schedule screen, another time saving feature is the ability to right click on the client's name or unit's serial number in any main grid, and select to create a new workorder, or a new quote or a new preventive maintenance for that client or that unit.
Create a new workorder, quote, PM or client note for a client
| • | View any main grid where the client's name is displayed - this could be the Clients grid, Units grid, any Service Workorder grid, any Preventive Maintenance grid, etc |
| • | Create a new work order, quote or PM item for that client by right-clicking on the client name under the Client column. |
Create a new workorder or PM for a unit
| • | View any main grid where the unit's serial number is displayed - this could be the Units grid, any Service Workorder grid, any Preventive Maintenance grid, etc |
| • | Create a new work order or PM item for that unit, or bring up a list of all workorders where that unit has been selected in by right-clicking on the unit Serial Number column. |
