AyaNova Database Setup

The steps below are for SQL Express. You can certainly use SQL Server and of course some instructions would be different based on that. Refer to the AyaNova Online Help file for specific information on setting up SQL or  SQL Express databases

NOTE: The information below is based on the assumption that you have already reviewed and are familiar with configuration of AyaNova for network  SQL use.

Create AyaNova SQL Express database:

1. Run the ToMSSQL as per the ToMSSQL steps in the AyaNova Help file

2. This creates the trial AyaNova SQL Express database AyaNova which will have its data files located in your SQL Data folder - for example C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.2\MSSQL\Data

3. Create a backup of this trial database - it is suggested that you name the backup AyaNovaTrialDB.bak for ease of use
